Thank you Dagmar Haiku

As you maybe know we are preparing our second store anniversary right now. And of course we have some surprises for you in the pipeline. Nevertheless yesterday it was our turn to become surprised with something we would have never expected. Dagmar Haiku prepared secretly an exhibition for us which is currently running in the L4A gallery called "22769 in blogs".

Dagmar selected pictures from our store flickr group and wrote im's and notecards to the blogger asking if they would like to be a part of the exhibition. And well - all of them replied!
The result is a stunning art show. Each blogger has his own way in displaying items and the versatility of the pictures is breathtaking. For us even more cause it shows two years of our work in a very unique way.

Needless to say that this is extremely flattering. On the other hand it is about time to show the work of blogger in an art context. Since we also sometimes do blogpictures we know that blogging is not just putting on an outfit and make a snapshot. There is so much more like finding the right pose, hair, shoes, enviroment, making up a story and to entertain people.
Dagmar also took care of that by putting the links to the blogentries in the pictures. So if you klick on a picture it directs you to the blogs of the contributing blogger.

Exhibition Poster for 22769 in Blogs

Of course we became blogged by many other blogger also who are not in this exhibition right now. This does not mean that we do not appreciate the blogs, persons or entries - not at all! In our honest opinion every blogentry is important, cause people put effort in every blogpost they did, do and will do in the future.
And we are sure that - after we saw the exhibition - we will make another one in the near future with different contributers also. On the bottom line blogging is an extremely creative process like said above. And this is - in our opinion - a definition of art. So Manuel and myself bow low for every blogger out there and their work. Without you guys SL would lack of a very important spice. Thank you all for your dedication.

meet us at the Gallery Gift Shop

The new cycle of The Gallery Gift Shop brings you again art and items from the best content creators of the grid. This time we went with a casual look for him and her.

Two corresponing outfits containing sweaters, a red vintage flower shirt and these ole jeans for 190 L$ each. And the outfits have many wearing options also. you can decide if you just want to wear the shirt or the jumper - and of course everything together. Since not all residents have multiple attachement points (depending on the viewer) we created the attachements individually for every option.

The current round of The Gallery Gift Shop started yesterday and ends 15th February 2012 - so you have enough time for a visit, some art and also some shopping ^^

wait ...

Like on every 15th of the month we sent out yesterday the new gift to our group. This time you receive a green loose vintage flowered shirt and some loose fit black pants - of course in sizes for men and women.

The black woolen pants come with legcuffs and the loose shirt with sleeves, collar and bottomprim. And like always - in case you missed the groupnotice you can always jump to our flagshipstore and slap the groupgift vendor with activated group tag.

move in

It has been a while since we blogged about [bauwerk]. The reason for that is that we have been so busy with making clothes and redecorating the sim. you name it: the last 3 months have been busy as hell. But now finally we are proud to offer you the newest prefab from [bauwerk] - and it is a steal also - cause this Skyloft ist just 10 L$ til 16th January!

The skybox is 35 x 40 meters and offers you many possibilities to decorate it just in your personal style. And like with lofts - there are no walls but a lot of space and columns you can play around with. Oh yeah - the loft is mod - so you can alter it also. And it even comes with copy room dividers to give the loft your own unique structure.

In case you want to archieve some cool gallery style in your brand new skyloft I recommend that you stay a bit longer in the [bauwerk] departement. These neat cubechairs come in three different patterns and have a lot of sitting poses in it.
