It is the beginning of September and of course September brings hunts to all of us. Manuel gave you a brief update on that in the last entry – it is now time for me to become more specific on two of them which have already started, or start this weekend:

STEAM3 – The Hunt:

Oh boy we have been waiting for this one quite a long long time. And it appears we have not been the only ones who bit their nails til the Steampunkhunt comes back to town again. So this hunt is rockin and rollin and – erm – steaming the whole September. So cramp some room in your schedules for this one, cause this is fun indeed.

For Steam3 we came back to our beginnings with 22769 casual couture. Our lil crazy digit shop was up and running for two weeks when we applied to the Steam2 Hunt and finally became approved to it. I was busy in working on the 22769 vintage line at this moment and was desperately looking for a theme for the gift when all of a sudden this old comic book “The Rocketeer” catched my attention. The rest is history – we did “Keff” the steampunk rocketeer as steamgift and this outfit was so successful that people kept asking us for it long after the Steam2 had ended. So Keff made it in the vintage line and still is one of our topsellers.

For Steam3 we remembered that and again went with a comic book themed outfit. This one is called “TAH” which is the shortform for True American Hero. And if you have not spent the last 50 years under a rock on mars you certainly spot the similarities to the comic book hero Captain America. ^^

It was big fun to transport the costume to a steampunkish, dieselpunkish aera and of course this translates also to you guys out there. But I have to warn you all: TAH will NOT make it in the regular sales line of 22769 vintage! So it will be available ONLY with the Steampunkhunt 3 til end of September. So if you like the outfit and if you love comicbooks you better jump on your silver surfboard or in your fantasticar, program your x-jet with the coordinates of Sunny Island and drop by to hunt for the rusted cogwheel ^^

WHAT’S YOUR SIGN HUNT:

This one is starting tomorrow 4th September and ends 25th September. And again a hunt that made our fantasy go bananas. ^^

So what is this all about? It is about zodiacs and astrology. So every vendor who is taking part in this hunt had to choose one zodiac and craft something as gift that matches and fits the chosen sign. And as you probably know – like with the Song Lyrics Hunt – we do love these challenges a lot. So there was no way in passing on this one.

We went with scorpio. And if you are a bit familiar with the signs of the zodiac the scorpio is a watersign. So we decided to give the scorpio a maritim twist. And since this does absolutely not fit to our autumn collection from 22769 casual couture we just released, plus we did the vintage maritim steamboat captain “Yoshi” not long ago as sales item, we felt that it would be a nice idea to transport the scorpio also in some kind of a vintage look.

So our scorpio is a steamboat sailor – with blue linnen trousers, a blue leather jacket (with scorpio embroiding, of course) and a neat sailor cap. We hope you like this one – and if you ever planned to make a steampunk roleplay by the sea – we have the feeling that this outfit could suit your plans ;-)

For the What’s Your Sign Hunt you are looking for a small box – in our case with a scorpio on it. Our hint in the store is: “It is time for a commercial break”

Well, as I write this blogentry Paco is sniefing in the back. He caught the first flu of the nearby autum (he truly is a trendsetter then ;-)). So I’m glad that I can present you some more informations of the highlights we run in September in our crazy digit store.

Yeah, finally we’re ready to give you the style of fall: For this season we mixed the colors of autumn with some ethnical ornaments. So you can choose between six complete outfits, or mix and mingle your personal style with them. To get a quick overview of the new items, we have prepared an extra catalog for the autum collection 2010. You can download it here.

At this moment we’re working on a new feature for our blog as well: a quick overview of all items we sell either inworld and/or on the sl-marketplace. Of course we will inform you about that as soon as it is done.

Next, I would love to give you a brief update, of the events, in which 22769 casual couture is taking part in September.

First of all the Steam – The Hunt 3, starting tomorrow and runs til September 30th. At this time, I can just speculate what Paco has done this time as gift. He said to me it will be a „Steampunkish – True American Hero“. So we all have to wait til the hunt starts, to see what crazy, lovely and detailed outfit he has created.

Next in line will be the „Fashion Freaks 2“ and the „Whats Your Sign“ Hunt, before at September 20th the new „Make Him Over“ Hunt begins. More information about these hunts, will be posted soon.

Then – again – we will attend a fair: We will present some items of our fall collection plus some exclusive stuff on the FestiFall Fair 18th September – 26th September. We will publish the landmark to the fair on this blog shortly before the fair starts.

Before I close, I just want to bring your attention to the new coming MHOM (Make Him Over Magazine), you can get your free copy in front of our store. The first of all issue will be published on September 1st.

We often talked about it - and some of our friends from several blogs already told it: We are working on the fall collection with 22769 casual couture. And finally we are proud to release the first part of it.

And this one are the new vintage outfits Senta, Yoshi and Bolle. Like always we tried to give you as many mixing and matching possibilities as possible.

But Senta expanded that one even more - cause this lady turns into a rascal like in no time. Senta indeed is two outfits in one. First of course you have the noble look with the wonderful skirt and its clocks and compasses all around. the underskirt is flexible - the overskirt fully sculpted.

But then all of a sudden you will meet Senta with her leather shorts and believe me - she is ready to mess with you if you dare to confront her ^^

Yoshi is a nautic steampunker and comes with leathercoat and belt, a nautic vest and linnen underwear. The half-leather-jacket is truly something and can easily become mixed with other parts of your inventory. Since Yoshi is the captain of a steamboat he has been literally everywhere on the world - you can tell by the embroidings of his jacket and his trousers. You will find patterns of Africa or India as well as the compass on his back. This one definitely is not to be missed.

And finally Bolle - the nutty steamprofessor. Of course he has a labcoat over his highly detailed leathersuit. but he also has some test tubes on his belt (you never know when you can need some) and an extreme top hat. And Bolle has also a "mad eye" - mechanical enhanced with steampower! Truly a fun outfit!

These are the first three releases of our autumn collection - but we promise: There will come more! So better stay tuned for some ethnical couture on this blog soon ;-)

Time flies. It feels like yesterday when we suffered from the heatwave in Germany during the Go4Goal Hunt. And now fall is knocking on our door. No doubt one of my most favorite times in the year. Just think about the colours of the leaves, long walks in the woods, cuddeling up in your most comfortable jumpers.

But: Autumn means also a lot of work in second life for us. Like putting an autumn collection out or lots of appealing hunts and many other good stuff also. When we redid our store we had that point exactly in our minds. Manuel is right now scribbeling concepts for the most decorative times in the year like Halloween and of course X-mas. And you maybe guessed: Halloween is the biggest fun of all for shopowners – so you can expect something from us definitely ^^

So – as an appetiser for the Fall-Collection we have three neat outfits for you. Lets begin with the Jaunty Sale outfits. In case you have never heard before of the Jaunty Sale: It is a 49 L$ sale for dudes and some really high quality shops are taking part in this one. You can see the complete list here.

And you know us – we did not provide one, but two neat and brand new outfits for this sale. And even if it is a sale for lads – the ladies also look very good in these outfits like many female bloggers prooved ;-)

The Jaunty Sale Outfit 1 contains a linnen longsleeve with sculpted cuffs and also some ethnical embroidings. It comes together with a big red paisleys scarf and also some cordunary jeans with sculpted cuffs. You can mix and match the shirt also with jeans and it looks really fancy and elegant with suitpants.

The Jaunty Sale Outfit 2 offers you a leather vest with subtile embroidings on the front, a blockstriped shirt, a plaid scarf and some dark brown knickebocker trousers also in cordunary look with leather pattern and sculpted cuffs.

Both outfits are a true snip. And they will remain in the store after the Jaunty sale is over – but of course they will become normally priced again – so better hurry up to get your share :-)

And finally we have something new for our beloved groupmembers. It is the 15th again – and that means: A new grougift is out! This one contains a red autumn leave longsleeve with wrinklecuffs and a sand striped jeans with sculpted cuffs. Like with most of our clothing this one can become combined with many other items in your virtual closet. And of course we hope you like our lil preview of the fall season :-)
